Who it is for

Team building events for any industry

Corporate team building with NETworks suits companies in any industry. Whether you want staff rewards, client entertainment, a fresh take on a team offsite or a culture day that finally brings a distributed team together, the afternoon flexes to your goals. We are Sydney-based and available Australia-wide, so wherever your team events happen we can run the day.

Staff rewards and culture days

Thank your people with a day out that actually brings them together. A NETworks afternoon works as a culture event that mixes coached tennis, hospitality and real conversation, so staff rewards feel personal rather than another box ticked.

Client entertainment

Host clients and prospects at a relaxed corporate sporting event where business networking happens naturally. The format gives everyone a reason to talk, so relationships build on the court and over food and drinks rather than across a boardroom table.

Team offsites

Turn an offsite into something people remember. Our team building events give your group a shared, active experience in Sydney or wider Australia, a change of pace from the usual workshop that still gets the whole team connecting.

Distributed and hybrid teams

When your team is spread across offices, home setups or cities, a single team event is a genuine reason to gather in person. Coached tennis gives distributed and hybrid teams a level playing field to reconnect and build team culture face to face.

How it works

How a corporate team building event works, end to end

From first enquiry to the final point, we handle the detail so your team building event runs smoothly. Here is how a typical corporate sporting event with NETworks comes together.

Enquire with your details

Tell us your rough group size, preferred location and a date range. That is all we need to start shaping a corporate team building event around your people.
We tailor the package and venue

We put together a bespoke package and secure a premium venue to suit your group and budget, Sydney-based and available Australia-wide.
Coached tennis for mixed skill levels

On the day our coaches run tennis built for mixed skill levels, so complete beginners and regular players take part in the same team building events without anyone feeling out of place.
Networking and hospitality woven through

Business networking and hospitality run through the whole afternoon. Food, drinks and the format are set up so your team and guests mix and connect, not just watch.
Optional branding, filming and a webpage

Afterwards we can add branded content, filming and a dedicated webpage so you can reuse and share the day. These extras are part of the paid corporate package, separate from our free community afternoons.

Why tennis works

Why tennis works for team building

Tennis is one of the most inclusive activities you can build a team event around. All skill levels are welcome and the format is zero-ego, so nobody needs to arrive as an athlete. Our coaches shape the play so beginners and regulars mix in the same games, which keeps the whole group involved rather than sidelined.

It is also a naturally low-pressure way to get people talking. Short rallies, doubles and friendly coaching create constant small moments of teamwork and conversation. That is what turns a corporate sporting event into genuine business networking: people connect because the activity gives them an easy reason to, not because a facilitator told them to.

Outcomes

What teams take away

Stronger team culture

A shared, active day gives teams something to talk about long after the final point, reinforcing the culture you are building.
Real connection

The low-pressure format gets people talking, so colleagues and clients leave having actually connected rather than small-talked.
Business networking that sticks

Networking happens on the court and over hospitality, creating the kind of relaxed corporate networking that leads to real relationships.
